In addition to the Air Jordan Fusion 12 Black/Blue Sapphire-Cyber we showed you earlier today, Jordan Brand will also release this Air Jordan Fusion 12 "Obsidian" tomorrow as well. Air Jordan Force Fusion VIII (AJF 8 ) begins with the release of the ‘Firepit' AJF8 LS. Last Sunday Sneaker News dropped a first look at the next Air Jordan Fusion that was up to bat; the Air Jordan 12.

 

This sneaker obviously draws its texture makeup and color inspiration from the iconic Air Jordan 12 "Obsidian". The design of the shoelace apparatus is nearly identical, as is the Jordan branding on the heel and strap. The Air Jordan XII (12) has signature elements that make it on this model, including the pebbled leather toe and the linear stitching on the upper. Obsidian premium leather is the predominant color/texture on this shoe; yet the white premium leather toe area provides nice color blocking.

 

Other features include white laces, an obsidian ankle strap and French Blue/University Blue Jordan branding on the heel. This model extends the pebbled material beyond the toe, swoosh, and laceholes and onto the midsole, and the contrast blue stitching on the upper lends a striking detail as well. Specifically, the stitched-panel upper is the most noticeable inspiration from this Fusion's predecessor. Jordan Brand managed to keep them somewhat close to the VIII straps, at least in their inclusion of the ‘AIR JORDAN' debossing that also appears on the Jordan Six Rings. 

 

Jordan Brand unleashed the Air Jordan Fusion 8 in an abundance of colorways throughout the first half of 2010; however, tomorrow marks the initial release of the Air Jordan Fusion 12. Obviously, the Air Jordan Fusion 12 borrows some of its design cues from MJ's 12 signature sneaker, the Air Jordan XII. Yet, it also contains characteristics of its own such as the ankle strap.

 

As for this colorway, black nubuck and textured leather make up most of the upper, while Blue Sapphire stitching graces the nubuck sections. Lastly, a Cyber-stitched swoosh provides a nice complimentary color accent. Will this be a definite purchase for you tomorrow? Say what you want about some of the Jordan Brand fusions, but there are still some releases that turn out to be pretty astounding. Taking no short cuts on the details, Air Jordan Fusion is a luxe model for sure.
