There are numerous advantages to choosing a siding product for your home, not the least of which is siding colors. The ColorPlus technology used by founder James Hardie involves a process whereby colors are baked into the composite material that makes up the siding. The resulting color is essentially embedded into the siding as opposed to surface adherence of a traditional wood siding. Hardiplank siding can be easily repainted in the future if you so choose.

If vinyl is your choice, you have an abundance of siding colors for this material as well. Manufacturers like CertainTeed, Norandex, Gentek and many more have expanded the variety of color choices so as to give the consumer more options. With lifetime guarantees readily available, siding colors should be decided upon when making your initial purchase. With proper and regular maintenance, you shouldn't have to worry about future color choices. You should probably be fairly certain as to the color that you opt for as vinyl repainting is not as simple and effective as it is for other materials.

Aluminum siding still remains a popular choice. With respect to the different colors, it is a very flexible material choice. Paint can be used creatively to imitate a variety of appearances. In addition, repainting is fairly easy if you should decide to change the exterior look of your home down the road.
