Bosch 4100 09 Table Saw - Safer,Greater Durability & Incredibly Accurate Cutting

The Bosch 4100 09 Table saw is the latest version of the best selling Bosch 4000 09 table saw. The Bosch 4100 Series is offered in three models. The Bosch 4100 standard unit not including the gravity rise stand (if you plan to utilize the saw on another bench or it is not needed to be portable). The Bosch 4100 09 table saw together with the Gravity-Rise Wheel Stand is the second model up and the Bosch 4100DG model is the 3rd which encompasses a Digital Square-lock rip fence and Gravity rise stand. The 4100DG is the top of the range of the 4100 series.

A basic summary of the features of the Bosch 4100 09 table saw

•The Bosch 4100 09 Table Saw is a 10inch saw that delivers constant smooth power thanks to Bosch's Constant Response Circuitry. What this does is it monitors the power of the motor and delivers more torque as needed whilst cutting to maintain a constant rpm or power output. This is the case even when the saw is under extreme load, this technology allows direct torque input for smooth operation and continual cutting speed. Bosch has also included a Soft Start technology that will cause the saw to be a lot quieter starting up than most other brands of table saws and even whilst cutting.

•The Bosch 4100 09 Table Saw includes Bosch's award winning new Gravity Rise stand. This stand folds up and sets-up with simplicity and no struggle on your behalf. It is very handy and can traverse various different kinds of terrain with it's 8" pneumatic wheels. This portablity allows you to cart your Bosch 4100 09 Table Saw around from home to your worksite very easily. Plus the method in which the stand folds up it enables one to store the saw in space constrained places also quite easily.

•The Bosch 4100 09 table saw has a fantastically big worktop. It measures 29 x 21.5inches and is a machined aluminium top. This sizeable worktop permits one to rip larger stock a great deal easier. The table furthermore has built in extenders and additional back and rear extensions can be purchased to further enlarge the support of larger stock when ripping if necessary.

•The patented Smart Guard System is a further safety feature from Bosch and is a modular easy-to-use blade guard, anit-kickback pawls and riving knife. No tools are needed to attach or remove any of these features/accessories. The notable new blade guards move separately from one another and this provides greatest protection while cutting and offers great control as well.

•A machined standard precision aluminium Squarelock™ Rip Fence has been included with the Bosch 4100 09 table saw and this fence which has been engineered for greatest trueness as well as rugged resilience glides easily along the rail or locks into place solidly for unfailing cutting performance.

•On-tool storage for all the saw attachments and tools is one more great attribute of this saw. Everything stores neatly on the base of the unit. There is storage on the unit for the Smart Guard System, Fence and Miter Gauge, and Push Stick and extra blades

"This is as close as you can come to having a shop saw without buying a shop saw--and it stands up on end and rolls away. The wheels on the stand could be larger as other consumers have pointed out, this will not roll up or down stairs. It travels the job site just fine, furthermore the saw has plenty of power.

I have used it to create cabinet doors, cut grooves with the dado, rip heaps of studs, sheets of ply, etc. It is just a versatile, strong, accurate tool.

One of my top 10 all time Amazon purchases, and top 5 all time tool purchases.

"This is a great saw - all was just right out of the box. I had gone to a big box store to get a feel for the product and both places had the gravity stand fastened to firm - so I was not crazy about the stand.When I followed the directions for assembly of the stand it ended up just right - folding and unfolding with little effort -my wife tried it and even she was impressed!!
I love the way all the accesories together with the saw guard have a storage point!
Soft start is great - no more blown circuits like I had with my earlier portable. Crosscuts and rips great - I recently ripped 8' of 1 1/4" Cherry - no problem. Bought all the accesories to go with it - the outfeed extension works great."
