Pneumatic nail gun is operated through compressed air. You must be alert when using this because it has added hazard to the air hose. Stretched air hose adds more hazard to the hazardous environment where compressed air is located.

The force of nail gun drives through any wood obstacle so you need to be aware of this also. When joining woods, keep your hands away from the muzzle.

Never use rusty nails. They can easily damage the nail gun tool. They can send rust and scale to the user. To operate more safely, use clean if not new nails.

Use safety glasses or face shield during the operation. It can protect you from splinters and substrates.

Always take care of your nail gun. Proper maintenance will reduce possible jams and misfires. Follow some basic guidelines in maintaining your gun. First thing to do is turn off the nail gun. If it is an electric nail gun, unplug it. If it is cordless, remove the batteries. Then check that the body of the nail gun is clean and with no debris. Otherwise, then carefully clean it. You can use a dry or damp cloth.

Keep clean the trigger and the magazine released lever. You must also make sure that they are in good working condition.

Only qualified personnel should replace worn or damaged parts. It can be a manufacturer or a service agent but not someone who is not equipped of these things. If internal maintenance is needed, contact qualified service personnel.
