House Painters In Redmond And How To Find The Right One For You
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0VY3envCWE
Your house is your most valuable possession, and so it's important that any work that's done on it is done right, and will still look good years from now. Doing it yourself can be a way to save money, but unless you have an experienced painter to help you it is a good idea to hire a professional to come in and make sure it's done properly. Before you go out and hire someone, here are a few important rules to keep in mind.
The first step to make is to decide which areas of your home need painted. One important thing that will play into this, are there any simple home improvements that need to be done before paint can go on? Molding repair, replacing or patching damaged drywall, or doors that need replacing are all things to be paid attention to.
Next, decide what colors and paints you want to use. You can get paint charts for all major brands at general home centers or paint stores. The painter you hire may also have suggestions - take these seriously.
Now things start really moving. This is where you start calling and get bids together for your job. Below we've got some of the questions to ask, but first you need to know how to find the right companies to call. Don't forget to ask friends and neighbors, but unlike in the past the yellow pages really aren't your best bet anymore. With the community online now giving impartial reviews, you're better off using yelp.com or www.angieslist.com to find good painting contractors in the east side. For more ideas on how to find good painters around the Redmond area, go to www.housepaintingredmond.com.
Now comes the part where you collect the quotes. One really important thing to keep in mind, is to make sure they're quoting on the same specs for the job. Make sure they'll all bidding on the same areas to paint, the same number of coats, etc. Always get at least two or three bids, and look for an average. If one has an unusually low bid, be suspicious. Ask the painters for references and contact them. Were the customers happy with the job? Did the painter complete the project in a timely and professional manner?
Once you have the quotes, select a painter based on price, track record and your impressions. Sit down with the contractor you've chosen and create a contract specifying the work to be done, total cost, payment schedule, start date and estimated completion date. It's also really important to make sure the contractor puts down what kind of paint they're going to be using on the job. You want to make sure they're using something quality that won't start looking bad in a few years. It's also really important to make sure the contract includes that the painter is responsible for cleanup, and taking all the stray paint from the windows, floors, etc.
Before the painter comes, get all the furniture out of the room to leave room for them to work. Anything that can't be taken out of the room should be moved to the center, and covered with drop cloths to keep them from getting damaged.
We've gone and found the best Redmond House Painter for you on Angie's List and Yelp, to just get your free quotes, go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0VY3envCWE.

Want to find the right house painter in your area?
You already know it's important to hire the right painter. Your Home is the most valuable asset you own, and it's important to get any work done on it done right. If you don't, you can end up with inferior paint that start peeling in a year, or a bad caulking job that can lead to water damage down the line. Both things that wouldn't pop up until a while after the job is done.
So the real question then, how do you find out beforehand who you should hire? What are the right questions to ask? What kinds of background checks should you make?
I'll tell you this much, a blind faith call from the yellow pages isn't the right answer, and just asking them for a good reference doesn't quite cut it either.
It's important to spend the time learning what to do, since a call from the yellow pages or asking them for a good reference isn't going to help.
When you're thinking about hiring a contractor, the first thing to do is to check the better business bureau. Just give them a call. It takes a few minutes, and will let you know right away if there have been any big problems between them and a client in the past.
The second thing to do is to look up unbiased consumer reviews. Yelp.com is one good place to check, just type in their business name and see what comes up. If there aren't enough reviews or the reviews don't tell you much, the real place worth checking out is angieslist.com. They're not free, but for less than the price of dinner you'll be able to really find out who's good and who's not.
If you do nothing else, these two things will get you half of the way, but there's a few more very simple things that will completely guarantee you getting the right person for the job. I couldn't fit them all in this video though, so I put together a free buyers guide instead.
I already told you the two background checks to do, there's also four simple questions and 11 easy steps to making sure you get it down in writing in a way that covers your liability. None of this is rocket science, but if you haven't done this in a while then we're here to make sure you get it done right the first time.

The Painter $7.28 The fashionables? They just want to know if a painting's hot. Whether it will gain. Queen Victoria said of Turner, 'He is quite mad.' A cockney who spoke his mind, he did not fit into the norm of the artist. Society saw him as a misfit, shocking, controversial. He was a visionary, the father of modern painting. The play examines his relationship to three women in his life. English painting is dead. It's dealers making fortunes out of sentimental dross. Cherubs. Dogs.
