Custom Made Tarpaulins

Types of Tarpaulin Materials available.

Traditional 16-oz Canvas Covers , are made from 100% Cotton Duck. It is 100% waterproof but will need re treating with a waterproofing agent from time to time. Normally available in Green.

Synthetic 12-oz Canvas Covers such as "Ripstop" are usually made from a blend of cotton and Polyester. This blend of cotton/Polyester results is a lighter finished weight - which is extremely strong. Normally available in Green/Red/Yellow/ Blue/White.

PVC 610. The base fabric is 100% Polyester to which a coating of PVC is applied to both sides. Colours available are Red/Blue/White/Green/Black/Orange/Yellow/ Gray. Eyelets are inserted in all outside edges - and these should be set into a section of material that is double thickness.

PVC 900. This material is used in extreme conditions where maximum strength is required. One such application is Truck Side curtains - which have to meet stringent regulations. If there is a load shift then this material has to retain the goods to prevent a load falling onto the highway. Both PVC 610 and 900 can be silk screen printed with your company logo. There is normally a full colour range available - including shades of colours.

Marine Grade PU coated. Sometimes referred to as the Rolls Royce of Boat Cover material - this PU grade is specially designed for use on sea going craft. It will withstand rough treatment and the harsh environment often encountered at sea.

Sizes. Normally Made to Measure Tarpaulins and Fitted Covers can be made to any shape or size. Also another advantage of a made to measure service is the fact that eyelets can be inserted where required.
