The Samsung Jet Is Available In A Chrome Colour Scheme

The original Samsung Jet was released in June 2009, but has recently been revamped with a stylish chrome colour scheme. With an extensive list of features and functions, as well as its contemporary styling, the Samsung Jet Chrome looks like it has the credentials to be a popular handset.

 

The phone itself measures 108.8x53.5x11.9 mm and weighs in at 110grams. It's relatively light weight and slim profile make it a comfortable phone to hold and use. The 3.1 inch AMOLED resistive touch screen is capable of displaying up to 16 million colours at 480x800 pixels ensuring unparalleled picture quality on screen. An accelerometer is built in which senses when the phone has been tilted and automatically rotates the image on screen accordingly so it can be viewed in both portrait and landscape forms.

 

Users are alerted to incoming calls and messages by vibration and ringing with the options to download polyphonic ringtones, and assign MP3 and WAV music files as ringtones. A useful speakerphone is built in allowing hands free communication, and thanks to DNSe (Digital Natural Sound Engine) this offers superb sound quality. A 3.5mm audio jack can accommodate hands free kits and headphones for listening to music.

 

Internal memory is 2GB as standard. However, a microSD slot is present which can accommodate a memory card of up to 16GB allowing generous storage for media files and other data.

 

The Samsung Jet Chrome comes with an impressive range of connectivity options. Primary network connections are via class 12 versions of both GPRS and EDGE, and 3G network connection is via HSDPA at speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps. Wi-Fi connectivity allows users to take advantage of local wireless router which offers an even faster internet connection.  Bluetooth version 2.1 is installed as standard allowing a convenient means of sharing files and data with other compatible devices in the same vicinity.

 

The Jet Chrome is equipped with a digital camera boasting 5MP which operates at a pixel resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. The camera utilizes an impressive range of clever features such as geo-tagging, face/smile/blink detection, and wide dynamic range. It also has the capability to shoot video in D1 and QVGA quality at 30 frames per second.

 

A versatile media player supports a wide range of music and video file formats. A micro USB (v2.0) port is included which allows easy transfer of media files to and from a computer.  Additional entertainment options include stereo FM radio playback and recording, and a range of pre-installed and downloadable games.

 

A long list of extra applications add to the well rounded package of features offered by this phone. Its appeal is increased with the available range of colours currently consisting of Black, Chrome and Purple.  Its impressive range of functionality is sure to win the attention of tech-savvy users, as well as style conscious individuals.
