This thermal light is in the color spectrum that we are not able to see with the normal eye.

An infrared camera can see in the dark by providing its own light source. Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) around the camera lens automatically switch on when it gets dark. Infrared cameras provide a normal color picture during daytime. When the sensor detects darkness, it turns on the infrared light. You will then see in black and white.

Using an infrared camera is easy. Some cameras like the dome style can be mounted by cutting a 4 inch diameter hole and fitting similar to plug and play. Attach the cables and you're all set. The bullet style cameras come with cables and mounting brackets.
