Real Paying Survey Sites - Paid Survey Sites Sound Too Good to Be True?
When you see advertisements for paid surveys, do you believe them? Can you really can make money and get free products by taking paid surveys, or do you think paid survey sites sound too good to be true? Strangely, the answers to the two positions posed in that last question are both "yes" -- and if you are considering paid surveys, you need to know why.
So, can make money and get free products by taking paid surveys? Absolutely you can. The question is not whether you can make money taking surveys, but rather how much you can earn. There are some paid survey sites out there that imply you can make $150 or more for focus groups and $50 or more for specialty surveys on a consistent basis. This kind of verbiage to draw you in doesn't come from the actual survey companies themselves, but sites that try and sell you their database of survey companies, or sites that are seeking you to join their mailing list in exchange for their survey company information (which ultimately leads to a lot of spam). So, while the actual dollar amount you could earn from a single survey (if you qualify) is not untrue, what they don't tell you is that the surveys higher paying surveys are few and far between. Real Paying Survey Sites
The compensation for surveys almost falls into a pyramid fashion. Draw a pyramid in your mind with several levels -- then think of those high paying surveys toward the point. There's not a lot of room up there, and the same goes for the number of surveys available. The everyday surveys you would likely receive are between $1-$8 per survey, with the majority on the lower pay scale and filling up the lower/wider end of your survey pyramid. This is not necessarily a bad thing, however, because since you can pick and choose they surveys you want to do, you only do the surveys that you think are worth your while. Keeping things in perspective, consider the time required versus the compensation offered. You may find that while the lower paying surveys seem like low pay, the actual amount you average per hour is significantly higher. In fact, you can easily earn between $6-15 per hour taking multiple surveys. That's really not that bad for just kicking back on your couch and typing on your laptop.
So, are paid surveys too good to be true? If you are counting on it supporting a family and are expecting to get rich, then the answer is probably "yes". If you are looking for a good way to earn extra money each month, then no, its not to good to be true. I've been doing it successfully for over 2 years now, and so can you. Real Paying Survey Sites

The book is written very concisely and to the point for student to devout less time for study without compromising the quality of understanding and learning the elements of engineering survey. The book has eleven chapters prepared in modular form with an aim to carry out field surveying systematically. Starting from fundamentals of surveying, chapters include measurement of horizontal and vertical distances and angles, surveying instruments and their working with due importance to mapping, the ultimate objective of surveying. Each chapter contains many solved examples, in which field data have been used. Inclusion of a chapter on errors and its effect on measurement and another chapter on determination of azimuth from astronomical observation has made the book a unique one in the elementary level. Further, the book is endowed with excellent figures and rich diversity of field problems which are expected to serve students best. |

Surveying the Greek Chora $58.95 This volume is the outcome of an international conference on landscape archaeology. It includes 15 contributions from participants from six different countries, who analyse the territories of the main ancient cities of the west, north and south coasts of the Black Sea region, discussing them also in a comparative, Mediterranean perspective. The particular aim of the conference was to join the forces of Eastern as well as Western researchers in establishing an overview of the relationship between the larger ancient cities and their territories. During the past 40 years, this particular field of archaeology has developed into a highly specialised and sophisticated discipline. Based on a systematic sampling strategy, it aims at understanding regions beyond the individual site, frequently on a city-state, regional or landscape level. The methodological debate on this approach that is current in Mediterranean archaeology has, however, only had a limited impact so far on Black Sea region research, with most Western researchers still lacking a fundamental knowledge about Black Sea data and how they are generated. |
