Their premier safes are fully convertible, have an attractive exterior, and are UL RSC, ETL, fire resistant and waterproof. To achieve the UL (Underwriters Laboratories) label on a product, it must meet or exceed the UL 72 testing standards, which may include a fire endurance test, a fire and impact test, an explosion hazard test or others. The RSC stands for Residential Security Container, and means that the product is able to withstand a full 5 minutes of rigorous attack by drilling, prying, punching, chiseling or other tampering. ETL Testing Laboratories has been in the product safety and reliability testing business since 1896. It tests products by almost 200 performance and safety standards. Stack-on's convertible home safes are one of the most convenient options you'll find. For example, the 40-Gun Safe can hold, as you might guess, 40 guns or 20 guns with additional storage, or be completely turned into all storage. They feature four way locking with 7 live action locking bolts, and 3 steel dead bolts. There are pre-drilled mounting holes in the steel bottom to allow easy attachment to the floor, and they come with fastening hardware, as well.
