Very happy with this vac

After only used my shop vac cobalt blue and gray plate has decided to die midst of a flood of 100 years after about 10 minutes of use I decided to do a lot of research before buying my next vac. This WD1450 hard and has great reviews here in the place, Home Depot, so I went ($ 99 on HD). This thing is big, strong suction power with less noise waaayyyy my old vac. My only complaint is the same as some others here, the loss creates a strong wind, the bright side of my kids love to follow me and become a jet stream lol. I could see scarf accessories, if this thing works perfectly.

Superb sized Wet Dry Vac for a reasonable price

I have the WD in 1450 with a bit "and have used a variety of applications in wet and dry. I originally bought it because my carpet was flooded and I used to fetch water from the carpet. He did a great job to get the most out of the water. I still had to rip the carpet and let it dry, but the drying time was reduced drastically because vac liters of water removed from the carpet. I bought the optional powder brush and brush for hard floors, so I could use this vac on hard floors of dirt and cobwebs on walls and windows. I also used to vacuum ash my gas grill and clean my car. There are many uses for this vac, I could go on forever.

Other reviews talk about powerful airflow at the back as a problem. It is true, so I bought the optional silencer to diffuse the flow of air power in the rear. This is a minor problem if you use mostly, but I use it primarily on the inside, so the speaker is useful for me. I also suggest getting the VF3502 dry bags for collection. Make it much easier to clean Vac, making it easier to switch to a wet pick-up - simply remove the bag and air filter. If you make pick-up wet, remember to remove the filter (and the collection bag dry if applicable) as indicated in the instructions. Re-install the filter to go dry pickup, it is very important!

Pros:

One) A lot of suction to collect dry and wet

3) Although a large volume of air in the rear, the filter does an excellent job and reduction of dust particles
4) Good vac storage accessories
5) E 'calmer I also felt that the silencer does not reduce noise at all
6) The tube ends the vac, so you can pull tube

So I would buy this vac if I could do it all again? Absolutely! The drawbacks are minor and can be dealt with primarily through the purchase of accessories, if you find them annoying. The VCA is a good choice if you are looking for a size medium, large vac wet / dry. I would just choose another model if you lack the space or are looking for portability (I go to WD4070) or if you are a heavy user, requiring large (I go to WD1851). WD1450 I selected because it is a good compromise between the two and a excellent choice for a medium size vac wet / dry!
