The activity was later extended to the storage of products derived from the processing of sugar beet (molasses, green waste waters and sewage). On this regard, highly profitable was the cooperation with national sugar producers, Eridania and Montedison.

Then, it was the turn for the water, agro-alimentary and wine-making sectors through the creation of large-scale stainless steel tanks.

After almost half a century of history, Cavalzani Inox possesses all the technical skills necessary to design and produce storage plants with different capacities and characteristics for a considerably various range of products and needs.

Storage is the core business of Cavalzani Inox. Our stainless steel storage tanks are ideal for containing:

- fats and vegetable oils
- cosmetics
- wine, water and beverages
- sugars and sweeteners
- cheese and dairy products
- organic fuels
- powders, granules and plastic materials for the pharmaceutical and chemical sector

The materials used for our tanks, vessels and silos can be stainless-steel (AISI 304, 304L, AISI 316 and 316L etc.) as well as aluminium. In accordance with the client’s requirements, Cavalzani Inox can also attend to the treatment of the internal and external surfaces of the steel tanks with sand-blasting, priming and enamelling.

In order to complete the service, Cavalzani provides customers with various types of stairways, handrails, gangways, level measurement systems and anything else needed in order to render the cisterns and vessels perfectly functional.

Our technical staff has always been investing in research and development to be sure of offering customers only the best storage solutions. It is worth mentioning the constant cooperation with the University of Florence over the past twenty years.

By joining technical and mechanical skills to new electronic technology Cavalzani Inox is today able to offer tanks and storage systems which offer, besides the quality which has always been one of our distinguishing features, excellent automatic systems and remote control allowing us to obtain the maximum possible from a minimum of effort.

To guarantee only the highest quality standards, we use an automated welding system for the production of our tanks including:

- 5 bench-stops for the viroles

- automatic TIG welding machinery with resource support (as specified by the Italian Welding Institute)

- joining and welding tower
