Hand Modelling Industry

There are different types of modelling such as High fashion modeling, Glamour modeling, Petite modeling, Plus size modeling, Teen modeling, Mature modeling, Body Part Modeling (hand, foot, neck modeling, etc), Male modeling, Character or "Real People" modeling, Catalogue modeling, Showroom Modeling, Fit Modeling, Promotional (Trade Show) Modeling, and Editorial (Magazine and Newspaper) Modeling.

Among these different types of modeling, body part modeling is a special division. In body part modeling various parts of you body like your neck, feet, hand, leg, etc are used for modeling. The basic requirement to do hand modeling is that you should have a perfect body part. That means perfect nails on feet and hands, no scars or wrinkles, no veins should show up and the skin should be perfect.

In this article we are going to discuss about hand modeling and how you can become a good hand model.  In case of hand models the agencies look for models with long and slim fingers. The models in this division choose the same path of a regular model to find an agency and building a portfolio to project themselves through various mediums.
If you are aspiring to become a successful hand model, then here are some tips for you to get ready for the challenge. First of all have a look at you hands. Do you have long, straight and slim fingers with smooth and even cuticles? Are you nails beautifully shaped? Do you have a good and even skin tone? Is your skin free of scars and flaws? Well there is a lot of work to do to be in the eye of the modeling companies or clients. The first and foremost step is to take the images of your hands. You can take these images from your home too with the help of a friend. You can get the ideas to take the picture from the net. You have to take pictures of your hand in various angles in order to show variety. While taking these pictures you don’t have to worry much about the lighting and background.

After taking the images of you hand in various angles look for a good quality modeling agency near your town. Getting in touch with a good modeling agency can help you to project your self in the right manner. Some of the modeling agencies may not have a section for hand models but still you can give it to them. You may not know from where you will get a call.
