The name Jacinto was extracted from the work of writer Humberto de Campos, found in the Legend of India Jacinto, Lady of the Moon, in the text Victoria Regia. The name comes from Tupi-Guarani.

Along the Rio Tenente Amaral and St. Lawrence River, they form one of the most beautiful set of waterfalls in the Midwest and along the Rio Tenente Amaral. Carried out in inflatable boats rides with lots of adrenaline, covering 2.5 km of rapids level I to level IV, where we can find Rebojão rapids of the Falls and Bamboo Tamburelo which is the largest and most exciting waterfall.
