With the explosion in popularity of the ATV, a huge aftermarket industry has developed. In particular, it is now easy to find Polaris ATV accessories.

For example, many trail and state regulations require that an ATV meet specific noise requirements. In addition, if you use your quad for hunting or traveling in the wild, you don't want to scare off all the animals with the sound of your vehicle. A recent innovation is the Stealth Exhaust, available from Kolpin Power Sports, which allows you to muffle ATV exhaust noise by up to 50%. The Stealth Exhaust has a universal design, which means it can be installed on most 4-stroke ATVs or UTVs. It's easy to install with basic tools, and also easy to uninstall, should you so choose.

Other Polaris ATV accessories you may consider include a winch, pitbull tires, trunk or cargo box, windshield, brushguard, lights, even a snowplow.

Uses for a winch are pretty self-explanatory. Imagine that you may need to drag a deer or moose carcass some distance. It would be pretty handy to have the winch do the heavy lifting for you!

Pitbull tires are helpful since they allow your quad to travel over much more rugged terrain. They have "knobbies" on the tires, allowing your ATV to grip rocks and hillsides. This type of tires will get you where you need to be!

A trunk or cargo box is another nice Polaris ATV accessory. These boxes can mount to your ATV in a variety of ways, giving you a place to store equipment, firearms, food, and more. Even better, most cargo boxes come complete with a working lock. Configurations are many, so you can choose which trunk fits your needs best.

A windshield is a nice ATV or UTV accessory, especially if you need to travel long distances at high speeds or in high winds.

Will you be traveling through brush or woods? Then you'll want to think seriously about a bush or brushguard. Usually metal, these are strong frames that mount on the front or rear of your quad to provide protection from rocks and trees as you travel through the bush.

Lights can be another good addition to your Polaris ATV accessories. Night comes early during hunting season, and you don't want to get caught out in the woods, miles from civilization, without a way to light up your path home!

What about a snowplow? Particularly if you don't have access to a tractor, you may want to consider a snowplow for your ATV. It makes life much easier if you can plow your own driveway, and the cost of a snowplow most likely will pay for itself in one winter season!
